Submissions are invited on the proposed Declared Pest Rates for the financial year commencing on 1 July 2025 which are to be determined under section 130 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act 2007.
The Hon Jackie Jarvis, Minister for Agriculture and Food, proposes that the rates listed in the Public Notice be determined on land in certain prescribed Local Government Districts of Western Australia under section 3 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management (Declared Pest Account) Regulations 2020.
Rates are matched by the State dollar for dollar. The combined funds are made available to Recognised Biosecurity Groups (RBG) who provide support to landholders to fulfil their obligations to manage widespread and established declared pests on their land.
